The West Bracknell Branch Labour Party (BLP) brings together local Labour members to discuss local and national issues, hear from Labour councillors and campaigners, take part in Labour Party policy discussions, and support election and community campaigns across the branch area. Branch meetings are also a way for members to stay connected, raise local concerns, and help shape Labour activity in West Bracknell.

The branch was founded in November 2023, as a successor to the Great Hollands & South Bracknell Branch Labour Party. The branch covers the areas of Birch Hill, Easthampstead, Great Hollands, Hanworth, Jennett’s Park and Wildridings.

Officers elected at the June 11th AGM for 2026/27 were:

  • Chair – Kath Nugent
  • Vice-Chair – Matt White
  • Secretary – Guy Gillbe
  • Treasurer – Jenny Penfold
  • Membership officer – Kath Nugent
  • Auditors x2 – Janet Cochrane and Cath Thompson

Branch meetings are held every second Thursday of the month, 8pm, at Great Hollands Community Centre (except August and December).

The rules by which the Branch operates are detailed here.
